Look Behind the Lens
The point I wish to make with this post is quite simple. All you need to take great; no, change that to amazing photographs, is the right attitude and a clear objective in mind. It is much more productive and effective if a photographer picks up their camera with a focus or plan. The plan can be as simple as, “I want to take photos of insects on flowers.” When one has something in mind as they venture out with their camera, they are much more likely to create better images. While it is certainly possible to stumble into a great photo opportunity and come away with a winning shot, a photographer who has an image in their mind’s eye is much more likely to be successful. Make each shot with a purpose and your camera will become an extension of your mind, allowing you to produce beautiful images.
